Roundup of My Favorite Vegan Hair Products

Since going vegan a little over a year ago I've had to ditch the Pantene I grew up on and try out completely new products. And I have to say, I've really been enjoying experimenting! I am very low-maintenance when it comes to my hair routine (I'm a wash, air-dry, and go type of gal) so my favorite hair products consist mainly of things which make my hair clean and keep it well hydrated so it won't be frizzy.

So without further ado, here are my favorite vegan-friendly hair products that I've discovered so far.

Vegan Hair Products RoundUp - My 7 Favorite Products For Health Hair

Not Your Mothers Long And Strong Shampoo - Vegan Hair Products RoundUp - My 7 Favorite Products For Health HairNot Your Mothers Shampoo Way To Grow (Long+Strong)

I started using this shampoo in just the last few months and I love it! I've been working really hard to grow my hair out recently and it is getting pretty long. I love that this shampoo is sulfate-free and it has biotin in it which is great for your hair and helps it to be strong. This shampoo also leaves my hair feeling super clean, which is pretty important for a shampoo to do.

This is the best dry shampoo I've ever used. I've never been truly satisfied with a dry shampoo before but this stuff works great. I've gone from shampooing every 2-3 days to now every 4 days on average. Which is awesome! It's better for my hair health, allows my hair color to last longer, and it saves me a ton of time. And this dry shampoo truly is unscented.

Lush Cosmetics Brazilliant Shampoo Bar - Vegan Hair Products RoundUp - My 7 Favorite Products For Health HairLush's Brazilliant Shampoo Bar

I love all of Lush's shampoo bars but this one is my current favorite. It smells great and leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean and healthy. My favorite part about Lush's shampoo bars is that they are really easy to travel with since you just pop it in the little tin and go. They're also a no-waste solution to shampoo because there's no bottle, you just keep them in useable metal tins. They also last a really long time, as long as 3 bottles of shampoos on average.

Lush Cosmetics R&B Hair Moisturizer - Vegan Hair Products RoundUp - My 7 Favorite Products For Health HairLush's R&B Hair Moisturizer

Recently I went to Lush looking for a good leave-in conditioner and this is what I walked out with. A majestic jasmine scented hair moisturizer - this smells AMAZING! This product is great for those days when my hair is looking raggity and dry at the ends. It's also helpful for taming frizzies.

Shea Moisture Conditioner - Vegan Hair Products RoundUp - My 7 Favorite Products For Health HairShea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner

Shea Moisture is my newest discovery as far as product lines go and I'm quickly falling in love with it. All of their products are so nourishing and this conditioner is no exception. One of the great things about Shea Moisture is their products are made with natural and organic ingredients (they are not 100% organic, however). It's also great for all hair types and this conditioner can double as a leave-in conditioner!

Shea Moisture Hair Dye - Vegan Hair Products RoundUp - My 7 Favorite Products For Health Hair

Shea Moisture Reddish Blonde Hair Color System

No hair product list would be complete without hair dye! Shea Moisture's is my favorite that I have tried so far for natural looking hair color. The hair color is ammonia-free and sulfate-free and contains organic ingredients (it's not 100% organic). I really loved that their dye kits come with mini bottles of their shampoo, conditioner, and hair elixir! This was how I was first exposed to Shea Moisture's line of hair products, in fact. They have shades from blonde to red to black and they are safe for all hair types. My only complaint is that using their 'Reddish Blonde' dye my hair came out very auburn. But as a natural brunette I guess I can't expect it to make my hair too light. Next time I'll go for their 'Bright Auburn' dye for a bright pop of red!

Shea Moisture Finishing Elixir - Vegan Hair Products RoundUp - My 7 Favorite Products For Health HairSheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Reconstructive Finishing Elixir

Prior to receiving a sample of this elixir with my hair dye kit I had never even heard of finishing elixirs before, I didn't even know how to use it at first! But I quickly became a fan. This elixir is perfect for taming fly-aways and frizzies and provides extra moisture and shine to dry hair.

One product which I have not tried yet but am really looking forward to trying this summer is Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Soft Waves Sea Salt Spray. They actually have an entire Beach Babe line of products that I'm pretty sure are going to be my staples this summer! I'll report back later with my thoughts if/when I do get them.

That's it! A roundup of my current favorite vegan hair care products! Have you tried any of these? What are your favorite vegan hair care products?
